INESC TEC is accepting applications for 1 Technical Specialist job in the Communication Design

Job description:

Work Area: Communication Design
Project overview: The work plan is part of the functional area of Communication at INESC TEC. It will include several tasks ranging from the operationalisation of defined institutional and/or project and events needs, also focusing on strategic needs concerning the implementation of new works.
Objectives: To hire a designer for INESC TEC's Communication Service, considering the following objectives:;
- create the visual identity for projects an/or events;;
- create institutional communication materials, for projects and/or events (e.g., leaflets, posters, presentations, reports, etc.);;
- supervise the production and final artwork of the developed projects.

Academic Qualifications: Degree or Master's degree in Design, Communication Design, Visual Arts or related areas
Minimum profile required: Minimum of two years of professional experience in similar roles - designer, graphic designer or equivalent. Experience working with the following applications: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign.
Application contents: CV, Qualification certificate, design projects portfolio.
Preference factors: Design knowledge for web/digital content and production; Knowledge in photography, video and motion graphics production (use of Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects). The applicants ought to be autonomous, proactive, creative and innovative, with critical thinking and the ability to work in a team. Candidates with experience in illustration and infographics are favoured.

The hiring shall be governed by what is stipulated in the legislation in force regarding fixed individual employment contracts and by INESC TEC norms.

Selection criteria: The selection of the candidates will be based on the following criteria, in descending order of consideration:
a) Relevant Curriculum in the concerned field of this tender
b) Proven experience.
DISABILITY INCENTIVE

Candidates who present a degree of disability equal to or greater than 90% will benefit from an incentive (20) in the score of the CV Assessment.
Candidates who present a degree of disability equal to or greater than 60% and less than 90% will also benefit from an incentive (10) in the score of the CV Assessment.
Said score may, in these cases, exceed 100 points.
Candidates must demonstrate the degree of disability during the application, namely through the submission of the Multi-Purpose Medical Certificate of Disability, issued in accordance with Decree-Law no. 202/96, of October 23 - currently in effect.
