Other requirements:
Have PhD degree in biological sciences,
Teaching experience at the university level and experience in popularizing scientific knowledge is also desirable.
Presenting the didactic offer (in the field of bachelor's, master's, postgraduate studies, and others), complementing the offer of the faculty;
Scientific achievements documented in scientific publications, international experience, e.g. participation in international conferences, postdoctoral internships, scholarships and training, etc.

Salary: 7620–7969 PLN (gross) per month, depending on the scientific degree
Minimum period of employment
The position initially offers temporary employment for a period of 33 months, with the possibility of permanent employment thereafter, subject to a positive evaluation of the Candidate's scientific achievements.

A copy of Ph.D. diploma.

A professional CV, including a list of publications.
A motivation letter that includes a research plan and teaching proposal.
Names and contact information (email, phone number) of two academic researchers who can provide information about the Candidate.
A statement in which the Candidate confirms having read and accepted the regulations for conducting competitions, as outlined in Ordinance No 106 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw, from 27 September 2019 , defining procedures for conducting a competition for the post of an academic teacher at the University of Warsaw (Monitor UW item 388; English translation)

Recruitment procedure
The applications will be reviewed by the Competition Committee of the Faculty of Biology in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 106 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw from 27 September 2019, as previously mentioned. Candidates will be notified of the interview date (to be conducted online) and the results of the competition by email.
The Faculty of Biology reserves the right to reply to selected applications only and to close the procedure without making a final decision.
The competition represents the initial stage of the academic teacher hiring process outlined in the Statute of the University of Warsaw, and a positive decision serves as a basis for further proceedings.
