Offer Description
The Director of the Institute of Environmental Engineering Polish Academy of Sciences in Zabrze hereby announces a vacancy competition for the full-time position of professor at the Department of Air Protection in the field of engineering and technical sciences, in the discipline of environmental engineering, mining and power engineering.
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications
The candidate is required to have:
1. The title of professor of technical sciences in the discipline of environmental engineering,
2. Promoted at least two doctors,
3. Documented scientific achievements in the field of environmental engineering,
4. Published a comprehensive work, i.e. a monograph or a series of articles in major scientific journals,
5. Actively participates in scientific life (participation in national / international scientific and technical conferences, symposia, national and international organizations, scientific societies, organizing conferences, symposia, seminars, maintaining foreign contacts),
6. Experience in building a research team, preparing and managing scientific research programs (national/EU research projects, statutory research, own research, research for business entities),
7. Documented experience in environmental research, in particular in air research, environmental analysis in the field of air quality assessment and knowledge of BAT issues for industry.
Specific Requirements

1. Application letter addressed to the Director,
2. A Copy of obtaining the title of professor (for document issued in languages other than Polish, also a certified translation of the document into Polish)
3. Scientific curriculum vitae including a list of possible practical experience, description of past scientific achievements, publishing activities, information on participation in research projects, conferences, etc.
