Offer Description

The purpose of the competition is to fill one position of Professor at the Institute of Linguistics (in the area of Iberian/Spanish linguistics). The competition is open to applicants who meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the 20 July 2018 Act on higher education and science (The2023 Journal of Laws, item 742 incl. subsequent alterations) and the criteria indicated in the competition. The competition is the first stage of the recruitment process for the post of an academic teacher, and its positive outcome is the basis for further procedure.

We expect:

professor title in the field of humanities in the discipline of linguistics,

a person of well-established position in the academic community, whose scholarly activity is reflected in publications, preferably in leading academic journals,

consent to full-time, primary employment,

fluent command of Polish;

good command of English would be an additional asset.

5. duplicates of the diplomas confirming academic or professional titles and degrees; if the language of the documents is other than Polish, also certified translations of the documents into Polish (by a sworn translator), as well as the certificate of the equivalence of the diploma with the Polish professional title/academic degree,
6. a list of publications, description of previous teaching experience as well as other achievements related to the organization of scientific activity and popularization of science, brief information regarding reseach and publication plans,
