Offer Description

Vice-Rector for Students and Teaching at the Medical University of Wrocław
as of announces an open competition for the position of lecturer
in the group of teaching staff at the Foreign Languages Center of the Medical University of Wrocław

Candidates applying for the competition should meet the following conditions:

1. have a master's degree in English philology,
2. have at least 2 years of experience in conducting English classes for adults,
3. have documented experience in teaching general and specialized languages at the B2, B2+, C1 levels,
4. have experience in conducting distance classes,
5. have pedagogical preparation for teaching English,
6. demonstrate knowledge of foreign language teaching methodology,
7. demonstrate availability and readiness to conduct classes for part-time students (weekends),
8. demonstrate communication skills, responsibility, independence, ability to work in a team, impeccable ethical attitude and discipline,
9. submit a declaration that employment at the Municipal Office in Wrocław will be their primary place of work within the meaning of the Act,
10. meet the requirements of Art. 113 of the Act on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668, as amended), i.e.:
a) have full legal capacity,
b) enjoy full public rights,
c) have not been punished by a final judgment for an intentional crime or an intentional fiscal crime,
d) have not been punished with a disciplinary penalty of deprivation of the right to practice the profession of an academic teacher permanently or for a specified period, or expulsion from work at a university with a ban on working at universities for a period of 6 months to 5 years,
e) have the qualifications specified in the Act and the University's statute.
