Offer Description

The competition may be entered by persons who meet the requirements specified in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended) and meet the following qualification criteria:
1) having a professional master's degree in physiotherapy,
2) having a valid document confirming the right to practice the profession of a physiotherapist,
3) has / is in the process of obtaining teaching qualifications or has documented practical experience outside higher education,
4) experience in conducting teaching classes (auditorium exercises, laboratories, clinical exercises) at a university in the field of Physiotherapy,
5) having at least 5 years of professional experience as a physiotherapist, in particular in the neurological department, trauma and orthopedic surgery department and rehabilitation clinic,
6) active participation in scientific life, including: scientific publications,
7) specialized training confirmed by certificates and certificates, 8) declaration of the primary place of work at the Universty of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz.

Skills/Qualifications

In the case of a foreign candidate, fluent knowledge of Polish in speech and writing is required. Employment of an academic teacher in a group of teaching staff under a fixed-term employment contract, full-time in the summer semester, in the academic year 2023/2024.

Specific Requirements

Responsibilities:

• 180 hours of teaching activities. on full-time studies, among others in the following subjects: Physiotherapy in internal diseases in cardiology and cardiac surgery, Normal human anatomy, Functional diagnostics and planning of physiotherapy in developmental age, Kinesiotherapy,
• own scientific and professional development,
• organizational work for the University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz, especially at the Faculty of Physical Education and Security Sciences.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates entering the competition are required to submit the following documents:
1) job application,
2) declaration on the processing of personal data (Annex 1),
3) personal questionnaire for a person applying for employment (Annex 2),
4) biography,
5) copies (photocopies) of diplomas confirming your education (originals available for inspection before signing the contract),
6) documents confirming professional experience,
7) declaration of compliance with the requirements of Art. 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Annex 3),
8) copies of certificates, additional certificates,
9) a declaration that the University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz will be the primary place of work within the meaning of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Annex 4).

Selection process

Documents should be submitted: - in person or sent to the University's address: Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz, ul. Staszica 1, 33-300 Nowy Sącz, General Secretariat, room 01.
The envelope should be annotated: "Konkurs nr 2 na stanowisko wykładowcy na WKFB" or - send to the e-mail address [email protected] with the title: "Konkurs nr 2 na stanowisko wykładowcy na WKFB".

The deadline for submitting documents is February 12, 2024 (the date of receipt of the documents at the University's headquarters is decisive).
The competition results will be announced by February 14, 2024. Information about the result and the justification will be made available in the University Public Information Bulletin and on the website of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Additional comments

The selection committee reserves the right to interview candidates who meet the required qualification criteria. Applications that do not meet the formal conditions and those submitted after the deadline will not be considered. We reserve the right to cancel the competition proceedings without giving a reason. The result of the competition is not equivalent to the employment of the candidate, but constitutes a recommendation in this respect to the Rector. The final decision on employment is made by the Rector.
