Offer Description

The competition may be entered by persons who meet the requirements specified in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended) and meet the following qualification criteria:
1) having a habilitated doctor's degree in the field of medical sciences (dr hab.),
2) possession of a valid license to practice medicine,
3) specialization in internal diseases,
4) having the knowledge to conduct classes in subjects including: internal diseases, physiology, elements of professionalism and interpersonal communication confirmed by having at least three scientific publications from the last 10 years in the scientific discipline: medical sciences, health sciences published in journals or publishing houses scientific, national and foreign indexed in scientific databases,
5) having documented academic experience in conducting classes in the field of medicine,
6) declaration of the primary place of work at the University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz.

Specific Requirements

Employment of an academic teacher in the group of research and teaching staff under a full-time fixed-term employment contract, in the summer semester of the 2023/2024 academic year

Responsibilities:

- conducting full-time teaching classes (105) full-time hours during full-time studies,

- own professional development,

- organizational work for the University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz, especially promotional work at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates entering the competition are required to submit the following documents:
1) job application,
2) declaration on the processing of personal data (Annex 1),
3) personal questionnaire for a person applying for employment (Annex 2),
4) biography,
5) copies (photocopies) of diplomas confirming your education (originals available for inspection before signing the contract),
6) documents confirming professional experience,
7) declaration of compliance with the requirements of Art. 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Annex 3),
8) copies of certificates, additional certificates, 9) a declaration that the Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz will be the primary place of work within the meaning of the Law on Higher Education and Science (Annex 4).

Selection process

Documents should be submitted: - in person or sent to the University's address: Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz, ul. Staszica 1, 33-300 Nowy Sącz, General Secretariat, room 01.

The envelope should be annotated: "Konkurs nr 1 na stanowisko profesora uczelni w WLZ" or - send to the e-mail address [email protected] with the title: "Konkurs nr 1 na stanowisko profesora uczelni w WLZ" The deadline for submitting documents is February 26, 2024 (the date of receipt of the documents at the University's headquarters is decisive).

The competition results will be announced by February 28, 2024. Information about the result and the justification will be made available in the University Public Information Bulletin and on the website of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Additional comments

The selection committee reserves the right to interview candidates who meet the required qualification criteria. Applications that do not meet the formal conditions and those submitted after the deadline will not be considered. We reserve the right to cancel the competition proceedings without giving a reason. The result of the competition is not equivalent to the employment of the candidate, but constitutes a recommendation in this respect to the Rector. The final decision on employment is made by the Rector.
