Offer Description
Responsibilities:
• participation in scientific research, development and service work;
• establishing cooperation with external entities,
• coordinating external orders,
• contact with external clients,
• managing the work of the Atomic Spectrometry Laboratory,
• obtaining new clients for the Center,
• maintaining documentation related to measurement equipment and devices used in the atomic spectrometry laboratory,
• keeping documentation of research related to R&D and service activities (documenting results, preparing reports, reporting, publications),
• maintaining equipment in technical condition.
• timely and correct performance of assigned duties and orders of superiors,
• compliance with health, safety and fire protection regulations and rules in the Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals Gliwice,
• maintaining order and observing the rules of work discipline in the laboratory,

- PhD or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
• PhD and 2 years of experience in the research and development sector or Master's degree and 3 years of experience in the research and development sector, including participation in the implementation of research projects,
• chemical education,
• minimum 10 years of work in a chemical laboratory in a similar position,
• experience in managing a multi-person research team,
• experience in cooperation with clients,
• documented research achievements,
• theoretical and practical knowledge of analytical techniques, including atomic absorption spectrometry,
• patience, accuracy, independence, reliability,
• commitment, communication skills, openness and creativity,
• showing initiative and willingness to learn and improve professional qualifications,
• ability to work in a team,
• computer skills (Microsoft Office, LIMS software for managing the flow of orders in the laboratory).
