The Dean of the Faculty of Psychology in Warsaw at SWPS University invites applications for the position of: Associate Professor (Faculty of Psychology in Warsaw, Department of Clinical Psychology)

 

(as part of the research-teaching staff)

Number of teaching hours: 240

Duties:

  • Conducting research documented in highly rated publications
  • Preparation and submission of grant applications
  • Publishing research results in high-ranking journals and monographs;
  • Improving research skills;
  • Conducting teaching classes;
  • Organizational activities for the Faculty;
  • Improving academic skills;
  • Preparing lesson programs;
  • Organization of the teaching process;
  • Organization of conferences and scientific seminars.

Skills/Qualifications
  • A doctoral or postdoctoral degree in literary studies, in the field of social sciences or humanities, in the discipline of psychology;
  • Scientific publications (first or corresponding author of a scientific publication with a minimum of 100 points, regular publications in international journals with IF);
  • Participation in the implementation of domestic and foreign grants (as a manager and/or contractor), acting as a manager in a grant received from external and/or foreign funds);
  • Research interests in the area of: mental health, psychological influences;
  • Experience in conducting teaching classes at a university in clinical psychology, such as lectures, seminars, diploma seminars (over 5 years), including experience in conducting classes in English;
  • Experience in preparing teaching materials and creating new educational programs;
  • Experience in active participation in foreign scientific conferences;
  • Experience in popularizing scientific research results;
  • Experience in organizing the teaching process (including the implementation of new teaching programs);
  • Willingness to conduct classes also on weekends;
  • Very good knowledge of English and Polish, enabling you to conduct classes and independently write publications in these languages;
  • Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new applications;
  • will declare SWPS University to be her or his primary place of employment

  • CV with a list of scientific, teaching and organizational achievements (with a direct reference to the above mentioned criteria of eligibility), as well as a description of other professional experience and interests;
  • A copy of documents certifying the habilitated PhD (or an open habilitation process with a completion date of September 30, 2024)
