Offer Description

Vice-Rector for Students and Teaching at the Medical University of Wrocław
announces an open competition for the position of assistant professor
in the group of teaching staff at the Center for Statistical Analysis of the Medical University of Wrocław

Candidates applying for the competition should meet the following conditions:

1. have a doctoral degree;
2. have at least 2 years of teaching experience at a university, including experience in teaching biostatistics
3. have positive evaluations from superiors and students
4. demonstrate knowledge of English at a level that allows for smooth conduct of classes
5. submit a declaration that employment at the Municipal Office in Wrocław will be their primary place of work within the meaning of the Act,
6. meet the requirements of Art. 113 of the Act on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668, as amended), i.e.:
a) have full legal capacity,
b) enjoy full public rights,
c) have not been punished by a final judgment for an intentional crime or an intentional fiscal crime,
d) have not been punished with a disciplinary penalty of deprivation of the right to practice the profession of an academic teacher permanently or for a specified period, or expulsion from work at a university with a ban on working at universities for a period of 6 months to 5 years,
e) have qualifications specified in the Act and the University's statute,
7. participation in training on didactics and/or statistical methods, as well as authorship or co-authorship of popular science or didactics publications is welcome
