Director of Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital Research Institute announces a competition for the scientific position: Assistant Professor while providing part-time medical services at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology - scientific discipline - medical sciences.

The purpose of the job competition is to fill the scientific position of the Assistant Professor while providing part-time medical services at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology. The candidate should have a doctoral degree, a medical degree, specialization in line with the clinic's specialization, scientific achievements documented by publications, and knowledge of the English language.

Candidates are asked to submit the following documents:

1. Application addressed to the Director of the Institute for admission to the scientific position of professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology.

2. Certified copies of documents confirming professional qualifications (diploma, professional license, specialization, degree).

3. Current curriculum vitae including the course of professional work and scientific career (including participation in the implementation of scientific research projects).

4. The candidate's statement of English language skills.

5. A list of publications confirmed by the Scientific Library of the PMMHRI (according to the layout given below).

6. Bibliometric evaluation of published scientific output for the last 5 years including Hirsch index, carried out and confirmed by the Scientific Library of the ICZMP.

7. Plans for scientific development including application for research funds from external sources (with particular emphasis on EU funds).

 The list of publications (chronologically):

1. Original, full-text scientific papers (excluding congress and conference abstracts, papers in journal supplements, letters to the editor, and the participation of the author listed in the appendix as a participant in multi-center studies.

2. Case reports.

3. Review papers.

4. Chapters in textbooks

The application should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Recruitment for the scientific position of the Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology" with your name, mailing address and contact telephone number within the period from 06.03.2024 to 25.03.2024 until 15.30.

If the application is sent by registered mail or courier service, the date of receipt of the application to the "Polish Mother's Memorial Hospital Research Institute" shall be decisive.

The competition will be decided on 26.03.2024 at 11.40 a.m. in the didactic room No. 1 in the gynecology and obstetrics building of the PMMHRI in Lodz.

On the application please write: "Pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of RODO, I hereby declare that I consent to the processing by the data administrator, which is Polish Mother’s Memorial Hospital Research Institute in Lodz, of all my personal data included in the submitted documents, including my image (if a photo has been uploaded) for the purpose of the recruitment process."
