KEY WORDS: biodiversity, phylogenetic, phylogeography, oceanobiology, taxonomy DESCRIPTION (subject, expectations, comments): Assistant Professor of taxonomy and phylogeny of deep-sea, marine crustaceans. REQUIREMENTS: The candidate for the position should: - hold a doctoral degree in biological sciences in the discipline of biology or ecology (valid in Poland); - significant publication record in the field of marine crustacean phylogeny. A minimum of three articles published in upper quartile journals according to CiteScore and with at least 100 Ministry of Education and Science points is required. MEiN; in at least three articles the candidate should be first or corresponding author; - experience in molecular research; - advanced knowledge of phylogenetic and phylogeographic methods and the ability to apply them in oceanobiological research; - ability to work in team and independently perform experimental work (designing experiments, analyzing the results, etc.) - good communication in English (spoken and written); - teaching experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- fulfilling duties in accordance with the strategy of the University and the Department,
- conducting and participating in scientific research and development work,
- obtaining funds for scientific research by applying in competitions,
- publishing results in the most prestigious scientific journals from the Journal Citation Reports list,
- implementation of international mobility for research purposes,
- organizing promotional and presentation actions for the benefit of the University and participation in them,
- organizing conferences, symposia, seminars, and other academic activities,
