SWPS University is a private research university. It has teaching campuses in Warsaw, Wrocław, Sopot, Poznań, Katowice, and Kraków. Tasks:

  • Conducting research activities focused on building scientific achievements, including:
    • Publishing in renowned scientific journals and publications
    • Acquiring external funding for research projects
    • Establishing a research team to launch a research center
    • Improving research skills and techniques
  • Conducting teaching activities in the field of psychology at the Faculty of Psychology in Katowice, as well as continuous improvement of teaching skills
  • Supporting the university's marketing efforts and building relationships with the socio-economic environment
  • Engaging in organizational activities within the faculty and university

Master Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in social sciences, in the discipline of psychology (obtained no later than September 30, 2024), and a master's degree in psychology
  • Fluent proficiency in English and Polish languages
  • Minimum one year of teaching experience (conducting classes with students and preparing teaching materials)
  • Availability to work on weekdays and weekends
  • Research interests in the field of clinical psychology of children and adolescents, personality psychology, or professional ethics of psychologists
  • Teaching experience and scientific achievements in one of the following areas: clinical psychology of children and adolescents, personality psychology, and/or individual differences psychology
  • Experience in actively participating in international scientific conferences
  • Experience in implementing grants (as a principal investigator, main executor, or fellow) funded by external sources or experience in fundraising for scientific research
  • Declaration of employment at SWPS University as the primary place of work

Eligibility criteria

Formal criteria:

  • Scientific achievements – 50% of the final score
  • Teaching achievements – 30% of the final score
  • Organizational and practical achievements – 20% of the final score
