DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments): The candidate is expected to have knowledge and a minimum of four years of research experience (documented by publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals) in the field of mass spectrometry, biochemical analysis, biological material analysis, metabolomics, laser mass spectrometry, mass spectrometry imaging. The candidate is also expected to participate in the work on obtaining the GLP certificate (or other form of accreditation) of the research laboratory. Teaching experience will be an additional advantage.
 

Candidates for the above position should meet the following requirements:

• a PhD degree in chemical engineering in the field of engineering and technology;

• to fulfill requirements as described in the regulation dated 20th of July 2018 Higher Education and Science (Regulations from 2023, position 742 with changes) and Rzeszow University of Technology Statute dated 27th of June 2019 (i.e. Regulation dated 27th of April 2023);

• research experience and scientific publications in the field of mass spectrometry, biochemical analysis, biological material analysis, metabolomics, laser mass spectrometry, mass spectrometry imaging - minimum 12 publications indexed in Scopus database

• have experience in participating in scientific projects - participation in at least 1 research grant

• have practical experience in using MALDI mass spectrometers and LC-MS systems.

• language knowledge:

  • Polish, level: native
  • English, level: good.
