Skills/Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree or habilitation degree in the field of Cultural and Religious Studies (Japan or Korea) (obtained no later than September 30, 2024)- employment will be as an Assistant until receiving the doctoral degree;
  • Teaching experience of more than 1 year;
  • Experience in actively participating in international scientific conferences;
  • Scientific achievements in the area of research on Japanese or Korean culture, confirmed by publications in peer-reviewed journals with impact factor;
  • Proficiency in Polish;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Proficiency in Japanese or Korean language.

Nice to have:

  • Experience gained while working in the business area
  • at least a 6-month educational-scientific stay in an East Asian country

  • CV with a list of scientific, didactic and organisational achievements (with direct reference to the above-mentioned qualification criteria).
  • A scan of the document confirming the attainment of a doctoral degree (or a statement regarding the planned date of obtaining it) or a post-doctoral degree (habilitation).
  • If the candidate does not have a doctoral degree - a letter from the supervisor containing the topic of the doctoral dissertation, its level of advancement (stage of review, defense, appointment of the Committee, etc.) and the expected defense date.
