Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Ph.D. Monika Bąk, professor of the University of Gdańsk, on behalf of the Rector of the University of Gdańsk, announces a competition for the position of assistant in the group of research and teaching staff at the Department of International Economics and Economic Development at the Faculty of Economics. The competition is open to persons who meet the requirements specified in the Act of July 20, 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668, as amended) and in the Statute of the University of Gdańsk of June 13, 2019 DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING OFFERS: March 8, 2024, at 10.00 EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS: 100% full-time, employment contract; amount of remuneration – according to the Remuneration Regulations of the University of Gdańsk. COMPETITION RESULT DATE: March 8, 2024 Keywords: international economics, off-shore sectors, offshore wind energy, local development.
REQUIREMENTS:Master's degree in economics, practical and theoretical knowledge of economic growth processes, especially local development, maritime development, including offshore wind energy experience in research in the field of regional development and economic development with particular emphasis on maritime economy and new off-shore sectors, significant scientific achievements, documented by publications in renowned national and international scientific journals in the above-mentioned scope at least 80% progress in the preparation of a doctoral dissertation in the above-mentioned thematic scope documented by the opinion of the scientific supervisor or supervisor, or the head of the Doctoral School experience in obtaining and settling funds for conducting scientific research from sources such as NCN, NCBR, university grants, etc., documented participation in courses and scientific conferences, including international ones, experience in conducting teaching classes, knowledge of Polish and English at a level enabling the preparation and conduct of teaching classes (e.g. documented by publications in conference languages). Candidates entering the competition are asked to submit their application to the office of the Department of International Economics and Economic Development, Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk, ul. Armii Krajowej 119/121, 81-824 Sopot, room A 220 (contact: tel. 58 523-12-31 or e-mail: [email protected]) the following documents: Application for employment (addressed to His Rector of the University of Gdańsk); Personal questionnaire for a person applying for employment (available at: https://ug.edu.pl/pracowni/strony_ Jednostek/dzial_kadr); A copy of the diploma; List of scientific and teaching achievements for the last 5 years (2019-2024); Opinions from your current workplace or doctoral school; Documents confirming the required skills and qualifications; Consent to the processing of personal data necessary to carry out the recruitment process; Declarations of meeting the requirements specified in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science; Declarations that in the event of employment at the University of Gdańsk after the competition procedure, the University of Gdańsk will be the candidate's primary place of work. If any deficiencies are found in the submitted documents or there is a need to obtain additional information about the candidate, the competition committee will call on the candidates to complete them within no more than 7 days.
