DESCRIPTION: 

The candidate(s) applying for the position of assistant professor in the research and teaching staff group must meet the requirements set forth in Article 113 of the Law of July 20, 2018. Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2023, item 742, as amended) and in § 89 (1) (3) of the University's Statute (Appendix to Resolution No. 63 - 2022/2023 of the Senate of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, dated May 29, 2023, on the adoption of the Statute of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences).

 

The Candidate is expected to have:

having the title of Master of Science, Master of Engineer or equivalent,

possessing scientific and didactic interests and the ability to develop them,

at least good command of English, to the extent that allows independent writing of scientific publications in this language and presenting and giving a speech at scientific conferences,

meeting additional requirements, including specific research, teaching, or organizational goals and tasks, specified in the competition's detailed terms, like other requirements (below).

 

Additional requirements:

publication of at least 3 scientific papers,

publishing achievements in the field of financial accounting, management accounting,

activity in presenting papers at conferences and scientific seminars in the country and / or abroad,

having at least a good command of the Polish language, sufficient level to allow independent writing of scientific paper in that language, delivering a speech at scientific conferences and conducting classes,

documented experience in organizational work.

An additional advantage will be a PhD degree in the discipline of economics/finance/ economics and finance.

• necessary documents confirming the remaining requirements from the Candidate,

• statement by the Candidate that meets the requirements set out in art. 113 of the Act on Higher Education (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) and a statement that SGGW-WULS will be the primary workplace within the meaning of the above Act*.
