The Dean of the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Visual Communication of the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznan hereby announces a competition for the position of the Assistant at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Visual Communication .
To participate, the contenders must comply with the requirements quoted in article 119 of the bill of 20 July 2018 Higher Education and Science Law (J.L. from 2021, position 478) and § 100 of the UAP Statute.

Requirements for candidates:
- diploma of completion of higher education in the field of art,
- candidates should have achievements in graphic art, exhibitions, and experience in organizing art workshops
- pedagogical and organizational experience

Eligibility criteria
Documents should be submitted in person or sent by mail to the following address: Faculty of Graphic Arts and Visual Communication, Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznan, ul. 23 Lutego 20, Building B, Room 202, 61-745 Poznań, from May 20, 2024, to June 19, 2024, by 12:00 PM. The date of receipt is decisive.
Selection process
The competition procedure includes:
1. Presentation of works created by the candidate (or their documentation) in the discipline in which the candidate intends to take the position,
2. Interview with the candidate.
The committee reserves the right to invite candidates selected based on the review of submitted documents—CV and portfolio—for the interview.
Additional comments
The competition will take place on June 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at UAP, Building B, ul. 23 Lutego 20, Room 202.
In case of any changes, candidates will be notified by phone.
The selection committee will assess candidates' knowledge in the field of art, artistic achievements, and aptitude for teaching. They will then choose the individual to be appointed as an assistant in the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Visual Communication. The committee reserves the right to declare the competition inconclusive.
The person selected in the course of the competition will be required to obtain an appropriate certificate of the ability to perform work at a given position. In the absence of such a certificate, the University reserves the right to choose the person who ranked second in the competition.
The competition will be resolved on the day of the competition.
Each candidate will be notified of the result by a separate letter sent to the address provided in the application documents.
Employment is planned for the earliest possible date.
