  • a university professor (in the research and teaching group)
  • discipline: chemical sciences
  • at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences (Institute of Chemical Sciences)

Skills/Qualifications

Candidates applying for the above position should meet the requirements set forth in Article 20(1) points 1-3 and Article 113 points 1 and 2 of the Law of July 20, 2018 - Law of Higher Education and Sciences and:

  • hold at least a post-doctoral degree in exact and natural sciences (discipline: chemical sciences)
  • have scientific achievements in analytical or inorganic chemistry documented by publications indexed in international databases, including those appearing in journals with Impact Factor and included in the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences of the Ministry of National Education;
  • be faimiliar with Polish and English to the extent necessary to conduct academic classes.

Specific Requirements

Additional advantages will be:

  • scientific activity, e.g. in the organisation of international or national conferences and seminars;
  • experience in popularisation of research results;
  • participation in research project.

Selection process

The candidates should submit the following documents:

  • Application for employment adressed to the Rector of the University.
  • A copy of documents confirming obtaining the high school diploma and an academic degrees.
  • Information on his/her scientific, teaching and organizational activities, including a list of achievements and indicating the field/discipline he/she represents.
  • Declaration of inclusion in the number of employees engaged in scientific activities
  • Personal questionnnaire for the applicant.
  • A statement that he/she meets the requirements for the position of academic teacher.
  • A clause expressing consent to the processing  of personal data for the purposes of the recruitment process.
  • Academic development plan.
  • A statement that in the event of employment Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities will be the primary workplace.

    Additional comments

    The competition committee reserves the right to interview in person with the candidates.

    The competition is expected to be resolved by June 25, 2024.

    Planned employment as of October 1, 2024.

    On the basis of 92 paragraph of the Statute of Siedlce University, the Rector reserves the right to withdraw from the settlement of the competition for important reasons.

    Selected candidates will be contacted. The documents sent by the University will not be returned. In case the candidate is not employed, the documents will be destroyed. In order to meet the deadline for submitting applications,, the date of their reception by to the University is decisive.
