Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent full time Wellbeing and Safety Advisor at our Toi Ohomai | Te Pūkenga business division located in Rotorua. This role will influencing and support the achievement of our wellbeing and safety vision across on-campus, on-job and online areas across the region, particularly at a local level.
The appointing salary for this role will be between $75,251 and $88,530, dependent on skills and experience.
The Wellbeing and Safety Advisor is based in our Toi Ohomai| Te Pūkenga reporting to the Regional Wellbeing and Safety Lead and will be responsible for:
· Provide advice and guidance to a wide range of stakeholders, including leaders, managers and kaimahi on wellbeing and safety matters, including on process and policy requirements for Toi Ohomai | Te Pūkenga
· Contribute to the design, development and delivery of our wellbeing and safety strategy
· Drive excellent ākonga and kaimahi engagement, participation and representation on wellbeing and safety matters.

To be successful in this role you will have:
· Experience working in a wellbeing and safety role providing support and advice across an organisation.
· Understanding of the vocational education sector and the recent reforms.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills, in particular the ability to partner with others through relationship building and influencing across a diverse range of stakeholders.
