Teaching Fellow - Business Case Programme Leader-2300190

The role/Te mahi This role is responsible for providing leadership for students involved in business case competitions and teaching based learning through case study content. You will work to grow and lead the development of a Case Centre within the School of Business that focuses on case analysis, student competitions, as well as case writing and teaching. You will also work alongside the School’s Business Engagement team to showcase Case Competitions to the business community and alumni, while working to identify and secure financial investments to make the case competitions self-funding. Your skills and experience/Kā pūkeka me kā wheako Ideally your background will contain previous professional business/commercial experience, and a strong ability to build and maintain effective business relationships. You should know the commercial landscape well, with an established group of contacts/networks across Dunedin and Aotearoa. Your ability to work well with students is important, so you should be able to demonstrate your aptitude to work with staff and students from differing academic and cultural backgrounds. We are looking for candidates with: An ability to teach topics into the Bachelor of Entrepreneurship and the MBA programme would be beneficial. About our Team/Mō te tīma This role is part of the Dean’s Office within the Otago Business School. The Dean’s Office is the managerial and administrative hub of the School. Hours of work can be negotiated around case competition and teaching requirements.
