The role/Te mahi We have an exciting opportunity for a library/information professional to join the University of Otago Library, based in Dunedin. Reporting to a Library Divisional Manager, the Subject Librarian provides in-depth assistance and support to the University community across teaching, learning and research. In this role, you will contribute to the development, evaluation and improvement of library services based on the needs of academic departments and programmes. This includes working closely with supervisors and research students to build an understanding of current and future learning, teaching and research needs. You will participate in innovative strategies to improve library services and support learning opportunities. We’re looking for someone who’s enthusiastic, curious, and innovative, who thrives on using their sound knowledge of library or archival systems and standards. A strong understanding of scholarly communication and open scholarship is desirable. The salary range for this position is $70,602 to $82,849 per annum.
