Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting for a Senior Adviser, Information and Records Management. This is an exciting opportunity be part of a team, working in a challenging and dynamic role in a complex environment.

In this role, you will provide high quality advice, and training for information and records management activities across all campuses, as well as lead IRM projects and manage physical records.

Your enthusiasm for information and records management and effective communication skills will enable you to influence staff while you build and maintain positive and productive relationships across the University.

To be successful you will have:

  • A relevant university degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years practical experience in records / information management.
  • A thorough knowledge of the Public Records Act.
  • Experience in the application of Disposal Authorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in managing multiple deadlines successfully and be proactive.
  • Experience with M365.
