Te āheinga: The opportunity
As Research Administrator you'll be responsible for providing high level, comprehensive research administration support for kaupapa Māori projects withing Ngā Wai a Te Tūī, Māori Indigenous Research Centre.

He kōrero mōu: About you
You'll have:
- An understanding or desire to learn te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and the values and practices of kaupapa Māori
- Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
- Relevant experience organising seminars and meetings, including preparation and distribution of documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build strong working relationships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills - ability to write short reports, draft correspondence, provide clear and concise explanations and instructions.
- Understands basic financial and budget practices.
- Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility and show high levels of initiative.
- High standard of work quality and output, including ability to work to deadlines.
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
