Project Coordinator - Technology

Join our Enterprise Solutions Team in IT, supporting the execution of projects ensuring they are completed on time and on budget.

Mō te tūka | The role

Support the efficient and effective execution of projects by coordinating activities, resources, and stakeholders.

Based in our Enterprise Solutions Team within ITS, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders, ultimately contributing to the university's overall success in leveraging technology to support its mission and objectives.

This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based at our Lincoln Campus.  The remuneration range is set at $80,000 - $85,000 per annum depending on experience.

Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • At least three years' experience working in a similar role.
  • Sound technical understanding and knowledge of IT business operations.
  • Experience with a variety of applications relevant to the role e.g. M365 suite, Visio, Jira, Confluence, Trello etc.
  • Good workshop facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Experience of the software development lifecycle and Agile approaches to projects.
  • Good presentation and project documentation skills.
  • Understanding of risk management principles.
  • A relevant tertiary or professional qualification in the areas of Project Management would be beneficial.
