The Role/Te mahi A Postdoctoral Fellowship position is available to investigate novel brain pathways linking the reproductive axis with cognitive function. Experiments will involve stereotaxic delivery of viral vectors, chemogenetic approaches, hormonal sampling, and behavioural analyses in transgenic laboratory models. Experiments will also employ immunofluorescent labelling and confocal imaging and preparation of tissue for RNAseq to define and understand specific mammalian brain circuits. In this role you will:

Expertise in neuroanatomy, stereotaxic surgery and viral vector handling would be an advantage.
