Partnership Coordinator - Social Services, Health & Wellbeing  - Fixed term to the end of 2025

This is an exciting role where you can use your skills to support the delivery of the polytechnic's social work, mental health and addiction, and disability programmes where our students are engaged in workplace-based learning. The coordinator's role is key to establishing, building, and sustaining effective relationships with sector organisations and providing placement opportunities to our students.

The Partnership Coordinator will be part of the Learning Delivery Directorate reporting to a Programme Delivery Manager.

You will have:

  • Experience in building and maintaining partnerships with a range of stakeholders, especially in an education delivery setting relating to workplace-based learning.
  • A post-graduate qualification in social work and/or related discipline would be preferable.
  • Current Social Work registration would be an advantage
  • Experience with engaging in cultural activities with an understanding of mātauranga Māori (values, culture and tikanga)
  • High level of organisational and record keeping skills
  • High level of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively develop and implement processes while meeting deadlines
  • An understanding of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi as it relates to the education sector
