The role/Te mahi

Are you detail-oriented, organised, and love keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Mailroom Assistant!

In this role you will assist in providing a complete postal, courier and freight service for the University of Otago.

Among other tasks, you will:
•    Efficiently deliver and collect mail from across campus.
•    Sort internal and external mail and courier items with precision.
•    Advise Departments on postal services, pricing ratio’s, discounts and conformance requirements.

From time-to-time heavy lifting may be required.

Your skills and experience/Kā pūkeka me kā wheako

•    A full and current New Zealand driver’s licence.
•    Strong computer skills particularly with the Microsoft Office suite.
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.
•    A professional, proactive and service orientated approach.

Further details/Pūroko

The is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent position. There is an expectation that Saturday morning and holiday coverage requirements are covered by the team working through a rotating roster.
