Legal Consultant - Internal Applicants Only

Join our team a s a legal consultant!

Key Responsibilites:

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of legal advice, documents, reports, and other materials for the University and Council and Council Committees.
• Support General Counsel with investigations by external investigatory and inquisitorial bodies.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key staff contact, and the members of the Vice Chancellors Office.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the legal and administrative teams to ensure the smooth operation of the University.

Requirements:

• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism and integrity.  Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
