We are looking for someone who is ākonga - student and outcome focussed to teach our high-level Electrical Engineering programme. You will need to be self-motivated and enthusiastic with excellent verbal and written communication skills to complement your presentation skills.
You will enjoy working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
You will have either recent experience working as an engineer in the Electrical Engineering industry and ideally teaching experience with a strong student-focus and demonstrate a passion for education. We will support you if you have not taught in an educational environment before with induction and training, watch and learn opportunities and further professional development. Preference will be given to those who have experience with Control Systems, Automation, Power Engineering, Electrical Machines, Electrical Principles and High-Level Software Design experience. A Graduate qualification in Electrical Engineering (ME or equivalent) and/or a minimum of 5 years working as an Engineer is essential.
