Information Literacy Librarian

We are seeking an Information Literacy Librarian to provide professional services to Library clients, including information literacy and collection development to support the University's teaching, learning and research.

This position will be based at AUT North but will also be required to work at times at the other campuses.  The position will report to the Learning and Academic Engagement, Senior Manager.

In this position you will:

• build relationships with academic staff
• participate in the development and delivery of the Library's Information Literacy programme
• collaborate with academic faculty staff to develop the Library's collections

For this position you will have:

• an undergraduate degree and a Library qualification at NZQA level 6 or above
• strong interpersonal and relationship skills
• self-confidence
• excellent customer service and communication skills
• teaching and presentation skills
• experience in library information services
• strong IT skills and experience with web technologies

This is a permanent position. You must be eligible to work in NZ to be considered.

Salary Range $54, 722 - $81,127 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
