Te āheinga: The opportunity
As the editor of Unitec ePress you'll process submissions and produce publications effectively and efficiently. Working with the Executive Editor and the Director of Research, you'll oversee and manage a range of ePress functions as required such as event coordination, business strategies, communication plans, review procedures, promotion, stakeholder relationship management and communications. You'll provide publishing leadership to ePress staff and emerging researchers, and to represent ePress with high standards of professionalism.
This is a part time position for 18.75 hours per week and there is flexibility on the hours worked.

He kōrero mōu: About you
You'll have:
- An understanding or desire to learn te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and the values and practices of kaupapa Māori
- Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
- Experience in a similar position for the past couple of years and have practical knowledge of WordPress.
- Knowledge of academic research practices and managing websites.
