Students and Global Engagement is a broad portfolio that leads Massey University’s strategies to enhance the student experience in New Zealand and abroad. Within this portfolio is the Future Students Team who handle recruiting students to Massey University. As front facing ambassadors we share information about Massey's academic programmes, pathways to study, campus offerings and scholarships and highlight the path to success with inspiring narratives of our esteemed staff and accomplished alumni.
About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
This permanent full-time position located at our Albany Auckland campus will drive recruitment and conversion activity through a blend of personal interaction and digital outreach. Engaging with secondary school students, parents, career advisors and community members, and working professionals across the motu this fast-paced role will work across multiple channels to grow and diversify the number of Massey students through events such as expos, open days, information evenings, experience days, school visits and much more. An essential part of this role involves meeting targets through the utilisation of marketing funnels to effectively guide potential students from first awareness through to enrolment.

To be successful in the role you will have.
- Tertiary qualified with a full New Zealand drivers’ licence.
- A strategic and creative approach with a can-do attitude, able to quickly adapt to and meet challenges.
- Confidence in using a range of applications including CRM, Excel, Power BI and webinar platforms.
- Proven experience working as part of a highly motivated team and gaining the respect of peers and stakeholders.
- Proven sales experience or equivalent and the ability to convert enquiries and applications into customers.
- Understanding and commitment to enacting the principles of Te Tiriti O Waitangi and cross-cultural inclusion
