Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
The Facilities Management Building Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all facilities management operations within the organization comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment for employees and visitors.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures, conducting audits, and providing training to staff members as necessary.
You will manage two in-house specialist Building Compliance Support personnel.
Mōu | Who You Are
As the Building Compliance Manager, you should have:
- Significant experience working in Fire Protection, Building Inspection industries or in a trade managerial role.
- Contract management and leadership experience.
- An in-depth knowledge of NZ Building Act and Building WOF processes.
- You ideally have strong knowledge of Fire Protection Systems.
- Knowledge of auditing processes and strong regulatory knowledge as well as excellent record keeping.
