The Strategy, Analytics and Reporting Office (SARO) provides strategically focused advice, insights and reporting to the University’s senior leadership team and the wider University community. The core role of SARO is to enable the University to achieve its goals and meet its obligations by developing and implementing strategy, and by providing data, analysis and insights to inform decisions. The role/Te mahi The successful candidate will form part of the Reporting and Compliance Team within the Strategy, Analytics and Reporting Office. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for maintaining reporting dashboards and various reports, particularly related to student enrolments, Pae Tata key performance indicators, compliance and quality assurance, and Official Information Act requests. They will take primary responsibility for managing SARO’s mailbox, responding to the majority of data requests, and allocating tasks and information to other members of the team as appropriate. • A tertiary level or other recognised qualification appropriate to the role.
• Experience collating data from various sources, and presenting data in ways readily understandable by stakeholders and answer the underlying questions being asked
• Cultural awareness including knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Mātauranga Māori and Te Reo Māori or a willingness to learn.
• The ability to collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
• Experience working in the Higher Education sector (preferred but not essential).
