Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an experienced Administrative Assistant on a 6-month, fixed-term contract. This role would require you to provide high quality administrative support and other associated functions for the team at the Te Here Tāura Rangahau - Faculty of Graduate Research .
Ō pūmanawa - About you
This fixed-term, full-time role is suited to an adaptable individual that is effective at prioritising workloads and dealing with multiple demands on time, while possessing a strong customer-focus and the ability to remain cool under pressure, with some flexibility to adjust working hours at peak times.
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience in customer service administrative support, including data entry.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including a consistently high level of clarity and accuracy.
- Proven experience in developing, implementing and maintaining administration processes.
- Able to work with others to ensure key deadlines are met.
- Able to manage a range of tasks at the same time.
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with database software.
Ideally you will also have prior experience working with staff and students in a tertiary education setting.
