Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
An exciting opportunity has opened for an Academic Administrator to join Te Tari o Te Rāngai Pūkaha | Faculty of Engineering Office. You will work closely with both Associate Deans- Academic and Faculty committees and take a proactive role to provide high-level and comprehensive academic administrative support including managing meeting agendas, scheduling, and appointments. Your role will involve serving as a minute secretary, and encompass tasks such as comprehensive report preparation. You will provide project administrative support for the meeting outcomes, as well as event support. This is a unique opportunity for someone interested in working closely with an Academic Team member and other senior colleagues within Te Tari o Te Rāngai Pūkaha | Faculty of Engineering Office in a stimulating and prestigious academic environment.

Mōu | Who You Are

You will have at least 5 years' experience in an administrative support role in a large organisation, particularly in the public sector, and tertiary experience or understanding of the New Zealand education system would be an advantage. You will be experienced in minute-taking and meeting protocols while ensuring a high level of proficiency and attention to detail in all your work. You will be an expert problem solver who can work efficiently in a team environment, as well having your own self-direction to enable a proactive approach to your work. As a team player you will have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact positively with a wide range of people and cultures. Administrative support is something that you love and drives you to follow through with your agreed outcomes and deliver them to a high level of excellence.
