Radboud university medical center is in search for a successor to the Professor of Paediatric Urology who is due to retire. For this challenging and inspiring position, we are looking for a professor or someone eligible for appointment as a professor of Paediatric Urology.

The primary focus will be on providing academic paediatric urological care and organizing this within (inter)national multidisciplinary networks. Secondary task will be to involve either conducting research or education and training, depending on personal expertise.

Specific Requirements

Our ideal candidate is a professor or professor-eligible paediatric urologist (PhD, FEBU, FEAPU) with specific experience in clinical, surgical scientific innovations. You have a track record in securing grants and scientific publications and are open to innovations and drives them forward.

In addition you possess the profile below:

  • Is a strong communicator.
  • A team player with excellent leadership qualities.
  • Has the ability to further develop current and new collaborations at local and (inter)national levels.

Depending on the profile of the appointed candidate, the tasks can be tailored to specific proportions.

  • A gross monthly salary of between € 11.787 and € 14.649 (scale HMS) for full-time employment (36 hours per week). You will also receive an 8% vacation allowance, an 8.3% end-of-year bonus, and, depending on the position, an allowance of 47% to 72% for working irregular hours.
