PhD Researcher – Private Equity

Vlerick is a school, but we run it as a company, aligned with the high standards we foster in our different programmes. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven PhD Researcher on the field of Private Equity.
Your Mission:
As a PhD researcher in the field of Private Equity (i.e., venture capital, growth capital and late stage private equity), you will:
- Perform fundamental (& applied) research in the context of Private Equity and how new sustainability (ESG) regulations have an impact on the investment behavior of private equity firms
- Disseminate knowledge by writing academic papers, reports, articles and attending academic conferences and workshops
- This Ph.D. will be a joint degree combining Ghent University and Tilburg University
