Offer Description

In the context of the ERC consolidator grant “TRIFFIC”, we are looking for a postdoc candidate to work on investigation of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) in piezo-electric materials, including thin film lithium niobate and aluminium nitride. You will develop models and design circuits for enhancing SBS in piezo-active materials by combining optical and electrical actuation.

Your home base will be at the NLNP chair within the dynamic MESA+ Institute for Nanotechnology at the University of Twente. The visionary Prof. David Marpaung will be your guide, and together, we'll forge connections and collaborations with the brilliant minds in the integrated photonics program.
