Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Milan for a Postdoctoral Researcher on Electro-spinning of Bionanomaterials for clinical applications. The candidate will conduct independent research in the field of electrospun biomaterials for clinical applications. The candidate will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers, develop and publish scientific work, and participate in project meetings and presentations.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, or a related field
  • Strong background in bionanomaterials characterization.
  • Deep experience in electrospinning applied to peptide/protein based-biomaterials.
  • Demonstrated skills in cell culture and tissue engineering
  • Experience in Good Manufacturing Practice standards for ATMPs production.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of 3D printing and other nanofabrication techniques is a plus.

The remuneration will be proportional to the experience and CV value.

Work start date: between April 2024 and June 2024.
