Job Overview: Our client is a newly established International school with UK Curriculum that opened its doors in September 2015. The student body is made up largely of local English speaking children and some from a range of other nationalities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to join a newly established and growing school with a strong, supportive team. The position would suit someone who has a sense of adventure, is independent and is prepared to share their ideas. You will need to be capable of working in a strong team environment and have a high level of professionalism and work ethic.

Benefits: Tax free salary begins at $2,000 USD and up depending on experience and qualifications. Accommodation is sourced, allocated and paid for by the school. The school will also pay for utility bills and internet connection. Accommodation usually consists of a comfortable, modern one bedroom apartment for single teachers. Single or shared accommodation may be provided. Married teachers and teachers with children will be allocated a 2/3 bedroom apartment wherever possible. Fifty percent of tuition is provided for up to two children. Return air fare is provided for each contract year with half paid upon arrival and the second half paid at the end of the contract. Medical insurance is provided for the employed teacher. Transportation to and from school as well as lunch is provided during working days.

Qualifications: Teachers must have their state/provincial teaching license and two years experience teaching the related grade and/or subject matter. Teachers must be native English speakers and must have two years’ teaching experience. Preference will be given to teachers with experience teaching the British curriculum and who have international teaching experience.

Additional Details: Our client seeks elementary teachers for Year 2 to 5 (1 to 4) to join their team as soon as possible for a one year term. English, Maths and Science remain very important and are considered the core subjects in both primary and secondary education, following the British national curriculum. Alongside these are the familiar foundation subjects: Art, Computing, Design & Technology, Geography, History, Music, and Physical Education. For these foundation subjects, the details in the curriculum are significantly briefer: schools have much more flexibility regarding what they cover in these subjects

Organization Overview: This is a very ambitious school seeking recognition both locally and nationally for its high academic excellence and achievement and with school places in high demand it is expected to grow rapidly in the coming year as we add more classes including the senior year groups up to post 16. The school offers Cambridge approved education programmes for both the primary and secondary sections and is the first school in Kyrgyzstan to be awarded COBIS recognition.
