Research description:
TRC is a research center that accelerates the development of new academic fields related to typhoons and the implementation of new technologies in society through collaboration between typhoon researchers from all over Japan and the university's unique research fields of electrochemistry, ship engineering, information engineering, law, and economic management, as well as through cooperation with the Fujitsu-Yokohama National University Typhoon Research Laboratory. This is a research center that accelerates the development of new typhoon-related academic fields and the implementation of new technologies in society.

Duties / Research description
The main responsibilities of this position are to research for the meteorological aspects of typhoons, such as their structure, internal dynamics, development process, and decaying process. You will lead to new discoveries, and in addition to these, to create new products by using new analytical methods and by adding new explanatory variables. If the selected candidate is a meteorologist, one will focus on meteorological approaches, and if the candidate is an information scientist, one will focus on data-driven science as one is tackle the aforementioned studies.

Annual salary:3 million yen - 8 million yen
Wages description:The annual salary amount is merely an estimate. The annual salary system is applied in accordance with the regulations of National University Corporation Yokohama National University and is estimated to be between 3 million yen and 8 million yen per year, including benefits and commuting expenses. The final offer will depend on your experience and age. The salary will be paid monthly.

Holidays :Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays (from December 29th to January 3rd), and summer vacation (Monday from August 12th to August 18th).
