In order to develop innovative structural materials suitable for 3D metal additive manufacturing that can realize complex shapes that are difficult to achieve with conventional technologies, those who are hired will investigate the correlation between process conditions, microstructure, properties and long-term reliability through experiments, numerical simulations or data science. Based on these findings, new alloys will be explored and evaluated.
* Start-up funds up to 10 million yen depending on the research plan at the time of arrival is available.
