The Institute for Solid State Physics (ISSP) was established in 1957 as a national joint research institute at the University of Tokyo to promote condensed matter physics and materials science research in Japan. In 2010, ISSP was granted a license to operate as a joint research center and act as a center of excellence in condensed matter physics and materials science. Since its inception, Research, Human Capability Development, and Joint Usage are the core axes of our activities.

[Work content and job description]
ISSP is seeking a highly motivated researcher who, as the leader of NSL, will contribute to the development of NSL and the Japanese neutron science community, provide strong leadership in future planning and promote his original neutron-based material research (in any field).
The scope of change is as follows: Displacement, concurrent service, and secondment may be ordered.However, in principle, such orders may not be issued against one's will. Details are in accordance with Article 4 of the Regulations on the Employment of University of Tokyo Faculty Members.

Wages description:The annual salary is an estimate only and is determined based on factors such as education and work experience, etc. Therefore, the amount stated in the annual salary column is not guaranteed.
