Background of the recruitment:
The Arid Land Research Center (ALRC) is a research institution affiliated with Tottori University, and it serves as a "Joint Usage/Research Center" in the field of dryland science. Please visit our website for further details.
The Arid Land Research Center will launch a JST-founded project under the title of “Conversion of wild plants into novel food resources for sustainable food production".
To enhance its activity, we would like to hire an excellent project (post-doctoral) researcher.

[Work content and job description]
Ideal candidate profile:
Candidates must be able to work independently for a JST-funded research project "Conversion of wild plants into novel food resources for sustainable food production" with an interest in analysis of ultra hybrids. Must have strong knowledge and skills in genetics, molecular biology, and molecular cytogenetics. Must be able to write scientific manuscripts and discuss research in English.
