Offer Description

The aim of this research project is to perform attosecond spectroscopic measurements on molecules of optoelectronic interest. These experiments are performed in the framework of the H2020 ERC TOMATTO project "The ultimate time scale in organic molecular optoelectronics, the attosecond", GA n. 951224. In particular, a beamline for pump-probe measurements will be developed, based on the use of attosecond pulses in the extreme ultraviolet and few-femtosecond pulses tunable in the ultraviolet. After the first phase of beamline optimization, the candidate will proceed with the first measurements on molecules of optoelectronic interest in gaseous phase. The candidate will then have to take care of the data analysis and interpretation.
