Offer Description
Preparation of biopolymer-based composite materials with antimicrobial function and related structural and functional characterization. The research topics include the use and dispersion of naturally derived bacteriocins in appropriate polymeric matrices through twin-screw extrusion, creation of samples (films and solid specimens) respectively with 6 thermoforming and injection molding, and mechanical, thermo-mechanical and antibacterial characterization of the produced samples.
