Offer Description
The scientific commitment focuses on the statistical theory, methods and algorithms at the core of statistical learning, with specific focus on the analysis of complex and high-dimensional data and with attention to both the methodological developments inherent to inferential statistics and the applications in the industrial, medical and environmental fields. The teaching commitment is centered on courses that refer to the scientific and disciplinary sector SECS-S01, and to those related to it. A solid university experience in teaching basic and advanced courses in Statistics, and related subjects, for curricula in Engineering, Architecture and Design, is required.
