Offer Description
The researcher will perform research activity of international level in the field of bioengineering, coherently with the lines or research pursued in the Biorobotics Institute and with the goals of the Department of Excellence in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
In particular, the candidate should be able to potentiate the activities concerning the development of innovative algorithms for the analysis of neural signals, based on advanced computational methods for the study of the dynamics of neuronal populations. The aim is to improve the translational activities in the fields of bioelectronics and neural engineering, fostering the connection between fundamental neuroscience research and clinical and preclinical experiments, and to extend the current network of collaborations.
The assistant professor will also contribute to teaching activities within the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna teaching programs (Undergraduate, Master, Seasonal Schools and and Ph.D. students), also delivered in English.
